Ring of the Brigand Cedar & Snowshoeing

The winter forest is a place that speaks softly, and to really listen you have to enter it at the right pace. L’Ring of the Fowler Bandit is a hike that restores dignity to an often mis-told story: that of brigands as mountain men, unwilling guardians of trails, fountains and shelters that we can still cross today. The hike follows a loop route that touches ridges, clearings and high beech forests, following the escape routes and resting places attributed to the figure of Rosa Cedrone, a brigandess with a hard and courageous life.
If snow is present, a snowshoeing easy, which makes the forest even quieter and allows better observation of animal tracks. The December light filters through the logs like an ancient tale: here winter is not absence, but a different form of presence. Guides will accompany the group with simple, factual narratives drawn from local documents, research and memories.
This is a perfect outing for those who want a full day, without frenzy. No constructed scenes: just walking, nature and those true stories that belong to the Comino Valley. A way to discover that the mountains, when lived in the present tense, are more welcoming than they seem.
