The Digital Services Act (DSA, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) is an EU regulation that entered into force on November 16, 2022. This regulation aims to contribute to the proper functioning of the internal market for intermediary services by establishing harmonized rules for a safe, predictable and reliable online environment that promotes innovation and effectively protects fundamental rights enshrined in the Charter, including the principle of consumer protection.

Authorized out-of-court dispute resolution bodies are impartial and independent bodies expressly authorized by EU member states that, due to their capabilities and expertise, are able to examine disputes referred to them.
