Foliage bike ride
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, we look forward to seeing you at Forca d'Acero for the Foliage Cyclo-pedal, a simple and well-organized cycling event to experience the colors of the Park's great beech forests up close. Meeting at 10 a.m. and departure at 10:30 a.m. from the CAI Refuge "La Castelluccia": the loop route is 13 km, with 350 m of elevation gain, maximum elevation 1,540 m above sea level and low difficulty (green). Riding muscular MTBs, E-MTBs or gravel bikes, you will pedal unhurriedly through carpets of leaves, forest scent and glimpses of the Comino Valley; the trail is also suitable for the untrained, as long as you have a helmet and bike in order.
Registration fee is €10 and includes packed lunch and gadgets. Registration by Oct. 24, at the end we return to the refuge for a convivial time with volunteers. If you do not have a bike, you can rent one by reservation at Civico 13 E-Bike Store, Piazza Carlo Coletti 17 in San Donato Val di Comino.
We recommend layered clothing, water bottle and respect for the rules of the woods (no littering, right of way for pedestrians). This is the perfect opportunity to combine nature, movement and community: an autumn morning that smells of wood, silence and good conversation.
