Pink Cycle Ride
Saturday, October 25, 2025 San Donato Val di Comino will be tinged pink for a day of sports, prevention and community. The Ottobre Rosa - Ciclopasseggiata is a simple invitation within everyone's reach: it starts at 3 p.m. from Piazza Carlo Coletti with the delivery of the pink kit, then you pedal unhurriedly through alleys and glimpses of the Comino Valley, in a route designed to be together and remember that health also passes through small daily gestures.
At 5 p.m. there will be a gathering at the Municipal Theater for refreshments; followed at 5:30 p.m. by the conference "Breast Cancer: Prevention - Diagnosis - Treatment," with institutional greetings from Mayor Enrico Pittiglio and Councillor Teresa Mazzola and speeches by specialists from Sora Hospital: oncologists, radiologist Dr.ssa Maria Pompea Apruzzese, surgeon Dr. Massimo Antonellis, physiotherapist-osteopath Dr. Silvia Cedrone and physiotherapist Dr. Angela Colucci.
The participation fee is €10 and all proceeds will be donated to the Oncology Department of Sora Hospital. Bring tidy bikes, helmet and water bottle: the bike ride is suitable for everyone, even the less trained.
Those arriving in the village can take advantage of a walk through the historic center and a stop at local shops-the pace is right for listening, informing, sharing. Participating means supporting research, taking care of oneself and others, and valuing a village that puts people at the center.
